Addition of new infrastructure aimed at increasing the accommodation capacity of the Refugee Center in Ritsona, Municipality of Chalkida, across a 50-acre intervention area. The project includes the installation of 222 new residential units with a total capacity of 1,536 people, of which 9 units are designed to be accessible for individuals with disabilities (ADA-compliant), as well as 2 communal-use buildings housing offices, laundry facilities, and activity spaces. The total area of the new facilities amounts to 10,945.00 sq.m. The intervention also includes development of the surrounding area, featuring the construction of 2 playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, 1 soccer field, and internal roadworks. Finally, the project involves the expansion of the existing wastewater treatment plant to meet the increased demand.
